Start with high-quality greens. Mix textures for interest: romaine or butter lettuce for crunch, spinach or spring mix for tenderness, and kale or arugula if you want a heartier bite.
Choose 3+ colors and textures: cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, radishes. Roasted vegetables add depth; raw veg keeps things bright and crunchy.
Add a protein: grilled chicken, beans, chickpeas, tuna, or tofu. Sprinkle seeds, nuts, or crispy shallots for crunch and contrast.
Dress lightly and taste as you go: acid, fat, salt, and sweetness. Finish with fresh herbs, crumbled cheese, or a citrus zest for brightness.
